Seeing the World and Its Fine Points
Kristin Hettermann discovered her passion for photography when she was 17. She spent years developing her gift into a trade, beginning with travel photography that documented her international travels, and branching into nature, lifestyle, architecture, and portraiture. Photography became an artistic release and a favorite pastime that would take her on adventures near and far. She started shooting professionally in her mid 20’s, expanding her portfolio with commission and commercial work for clients. Her photography skills offer her clients another level of integration in brand image development and marketing. She was published in 2006 in
William McCullough Southern Painter in Conversation with William Baldwin Southern Writer, which documented the conversation between two modern-day legends. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, including
Domain Magazine and
Landscape Architect. Previous shows include 53 Cannon Street Gallery and extended displays at Morning Glory and Lana (South Carolina). With work held nationally in public and private collections, she is most proud of her landscape show donated to Crisis Ministries, a homeless shelter in Charleston, SC.
