Popular Bachelor's Degree Programs From UH West Oahu to be Offered on Maui

July 6th, 2010 (Kahului, HI)- The University of Hawai’i West Oahu’s Distance Education Program will offer popular bachelor’s degree programs in Accounting, Marketing, Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Management, Early Childhood, Health Care Administration, and Social Sciences beginning this fall. Prospective students are invited to attend an information session hosted by a representative from UH West Oahu on Thursday July 15th at 6pm on the University of Hawai’i Maui College campus in Kahului. This unique opportunity to ask questions about UH West Oahu’s distance programs in an informal face-to-face environment will take place in Laulima 102. Refreshments will be provided.

Select bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa, the University of Hawai`i at West Oahu, and the University of Hawai`i at Hilo are made available to Maui County residents through the UH Center Maui. Courses are taught on-site on the University of Hawai`i Maui College campus (UHMC), via the internet, and by videoconferencing, allowing students to engage with their professors and classmates in real-time. Many of the programs cater to Maui’s business professionals and students raising families by offering courses conveniently on the evenings and weekends.
